UD-610 Wireless Microphone Systems
The UD-610 series is a professional range of high quality wireless systems providing superior sound through capsule and companding technology. Companding is instrumental to the quality of tone, resonance and overall sound created by the microphone, delivered to the mix. This area is where many wireless systems fail. Uncompromising, the UD-610 ensures you get the best performance from each and every process the sound travels to get to the mix. Featuring an aesthetically appealing look, the UF-610 handset is an all alloy construction designed for wear and tear whilst ensuring the safety of electronics and microphone capsules. The beauty of this handset is that the capsules can be interchanged, between the Dynamic U-281 and Condenser ECM-1441. This makes it the perfect package for professional sound and hire companies, allowing the flexibility of changing the capsule to suit the user and environment, without the cost of investing in a separate handset or system. Our ECM-1441 condenser capsules provides clarity and depth in both speech and singing environments. If you seek the condenser effect, the ECM-1441 will not disappoint. The U-281 Dynamic Capsule provides fantastic all round performance from Karaoke through to the professional singer. A favourite for rock environments and where versatility is desired, in situations such as karaoke, this is a must. Why have an "ok" microphone when you can have the best in town? The UT-91 Beltpack is a must for any application that require head or body worn instruments such as headsets, lavalieres and lapel microphones. It is also designed to suit plug in instruments such as guitars, featuring a switch between mic and line inputs, to ensure the correct sensitivity. Careful attention has been paid to the current supply to the 3 pin mini XLR input (AKG standard) to ensure maximum compatibility and reliable, responsive performance. Again, the companding system is second to none to a product twice the price. Both the handset and beltpack provide excellent RF, ensuring the signal is strong, constant and always reliable, with a true range of over 100m. Though most users will not be this far from the receiver, this signal clarity and strength ensure flawless operation where there are objects such as props, stage, people and costumes. The UD-610 receiver is a half rack design, constructed from steel sheeting for ruggedness and protection. The electronics are top notch to ensure the signal is decoded and sent to the mix in as natural form as possible. The true diversity technology again assists in ensuring the best signal direction is continuously connected, all but eliminating dropouts. With 700 channels to select over a 30MHz band (UHF 790MHz - 820MHz) you should always be able find a clear frequency to operate on. This is flexibility many more expensive options do not provide!
IEM-168
Wireless In Ear Monitors £P.O.A. The IEM-168 is a STEREO monitoring system that allows a stereo mix to be fed in place of floor or mounted monitors or wedges, isolating the performer from unwanted and / or distracting noise. Designed with superior dead air hiss reduction, the IEM-168 features a steel sheet construction half rack transmitter and a dual antenna bodypack receiver. The beauty of the IEM-168 is the cost effectiveness of adding additional body pack receivers for performers requiring the same mix. With transmission of up to 50mW, signal reliability is assured.
AD-122 Antenna Combiner £299.99
The AD-122 Antenna Combiner will combine the antennas of up to four UD-610 receivers into just two antennas with a 10db boost. Perfect for four systems together, ridding the messy antennas and increasing portability and minimising setup time. The additional benefit is these units are also suitable to be used with other band receivers such as Sennheiser!
After much time spent perfecting them, ROM Enterprises have released two fantastic headset products, the IMX6, which uses an Isomax Capsule and the IM5, a more budget oriented unit with performance that far extends its price.
